Already in 1923, a City Hall regatta was organized for archipelago cruisers and other wooden boats on Riddarfjärden. Now we do it again!
We celebrate the City Hall's birthday by reliving the City Hall Regatta 100 years later. With exciting sailing competitions and try-on activities for Stockholmers, we create a wonderful party atmosphere around Riddarfjärden.
The City Hall Regatta is held between 16–18 June 2023.
In addition to a race for the same wooden boats that participated 100 years ago and similar boats, we will also offer sailing in the most modern format in the form of a women's sprint competition.
The City Hall Regatta - Women on Water is organized by the Royal Swedish Sailing Club (KSSS) and the Swedish Sailing Federation (SSF) in collaboration with the City of Stockholm as part of the celebration of the City Hall, which turns 100 years old in 2023.
