After last years success Royal Swedish Yacht Club and Skota Hem in cooperation with Swedish Sailing Federation wants to invite our Nordic and Baltic neighbours to the second Para Nordic Sailing Championship.
Racing will take place the weekend 7-8 July, the plan is 3+3 starts. On Saturday evening we hope everyone will enjoy a nice dinner together at the club, there will also be a sailors and coaches forum.
Prior to the regatta (5-6 July) we will offer a mini-PDP clinic, two days of training for sailors and coaches under the lead of skilled coaches and trainers. We hope that all the group G MNAs will support their para sailors to participate. We will try to find 2.4’s for charter for nations that do not have boats to bring. We also encourage MNAs to cooperate to make this championship a success.
The aim for this regatta is to provide a regional championship as a first step in international racing for para sailors. It is also an attempt to even further strengthen the cooperationamong the group G MNAs in the para sailing area. It is supposed to be fun, educational and good competition. It is also an attempt to grow sailing and make it a Paralympic sport again.
